Hull the City of Culture this year hosted the first ever UK Pride event. Know as Pride in Hull 2017, it was an honour to be asked to take photos of the event and to celebrate diversity within the UK.

There was so much to see that it wasn't possilbe to capture everything; costumes, stalls, music, face painting, food and drink, so much to do and something for everyone.

The parade moved slowly through the city centre with over 9,000 attendees plus the general public celebrating the event.

It was such an amazing family friendly event and I am really looking forward to the next one.
